BLOOD NUTRITION PROFILE TESTING

by Laura Thompson, Ph.D.

In my 20 years of being in nutritional and naturopathic practice, I’ve been struck by the number of people who have had their annual check-up with their medical doctor and received blood tests that they:

1) Don’t understand and weren’t told what their results mean, or

2) Were told their results were normal, but they don’t feel good – and wonder why.

The simple fact is that most medical doctors lack the time or experience to thoroughly go through a patient’s blood test and analyze it for mild, moderate or severe nutritional deficiency.

With the groundbreaking new Blood Nutrition Profile or BNP there is now a simple but highly relevant format to analyze blood testing that integrates the scientific information with the nutritional and biochemical patterns in your test.

What Testing Reveals

With an advanced scientific approach, nutritionally significant information can be identified through the careful analysis of the various blood values to reveal:

1) Nutritional support levels of key organs like the liver, kidneys and heart. 2) Nutritional support levels for metabolic pathways. 3) Nutritional vitamin deficiencies, such as: A, D, B6, B12 and folic acid. 4) Nutritional mineral deficiencies, such as: calcium, magnesium and the electrolytes (sodium, potassium and chloride). 6) Blood sugar imbalance. 7) Thyroid levels. 8) Oxidative stress. 9) Cholesterol and triglyceride balance. 10) Hydration levels and fluid imbalance. 11) Diet and lifestyle requirements.

What You Receive

With the BNP you receive a full-color report with educational material, customized dietary recommendations with key nutritional information and important lifestyle considerations.

You will see how your blood test may reveal nutritionally significant information that can be used to plan your personalized health wellness regimen.

By monitoring your blood levels regularly you can then track how your blood test responds to dietary and nutritional adjustments so that you can adapt your regimen accordingly. Finally, you’ll have an analysis that makes sense and information that is applicable to your health and your future.
